Hello CVMF Friends:
The CVMF Board hopes all of you had a grand August and a fun Labor Day weekend. We are happy to advise and remind you of a few important points of Interest.
Building Bridges and Honoring Heroes
We’re excited to share some great news from a recent meeting between Harold Hervey and the Veterans Club at The Villages in San Jose. Harold kicked off the meeting with a heartfelt introduction to the CVMF, highlighting our mission to honor and support veterans.
Harold explained that CVMF provides scholarships for student veterans and that we believe every veteran deserves the chance to achieve their educational dreams without financial stress, and our scholarships make that possible. He also unveiled exciting plans to enhance the Memorial over the next two years. Our goal is to create a beautiful, reflective space where veterans and their families can remember, heal, and draw inspiration from those who served.
Throughout the meeting, Harold shared ideas on how CVMF and the Veterans Club can join forces to achieve our shared goals. The Villages team expressed enthusiasm about forming a strong partnership in the future. Both organizations look forward to building a lasting relationship, united by our dedication to supporting veterans and preserving their legacy.
